About Me

Fitness Trainer. Professional Ocean Athlete

Engineer. Philanthropist

Gosh about me’s are so hard to write! The thing about me, what I love, is to feel my best for as long as I can in life. When I feel my best I’m more positive, and when we’re positive we can accomplish what we always dreamed of doing. And that’s what NC6 TRAINING is all about, movement to make you feel your best.

It’s funny to think that drive is how I got to where I am now, it doesn’t always seem like it in the moment as we walk our path in life. I didn’t always want to be a personal trainer, just fell into it really, like so many other things in life.

I was lucky enough to grow up in New Caledonia with two younger brothers. My parents are hard workers, and when we got time to play, they’d teach us everything and take us everywhere on our sailboat. My dad introduced me to windsurfing and I was hooked, it was all I wanted to do.

But reality set in and I needed to think about my future, as my parents’ said, so I went to France to go to engineering school. When I received my masters at 23 I took a trip out to Maui to compete for a season as my ‘reward,’ but I started to get sponsorships and winning and I never looked back. I met my husband too, and started a life competing on tour and focusing on riding big waves (you can find out more about that life at hauserlifestyle.com). This is where the training came in.

In order to perform at my best training became a necessity. On top of the on-water demands, there were tons of other obligations, including second, third, and fourth jobs to keep the money coming in to be able to stay on the water. I was exhausted. I realized then how important training was, not only for the physical benefits, but also the mental endurance needed to always push through.

I fell in love with my training program, trainer, and people I trained with. Being coached at an elite facility to optimize my performance was a whole new experience for me, and I saw the connection between my academic love for how things work and my passion for being an athlete coming together all at once.

I started teaching fitness classes at the hotels in Wailea for part-time work, then studied and passed the National Academy of Sports Medicine test to become a certified trainer. I started to train other top competitive windsurfers, as well as start to write virtual workout programs for the employees of SAP.

And now here we are: NC6 TRAINING!
